Important Announcement

March 14, 2020

Dear colleague,

I think we're all watching Coronavirus development. At the same time, our priority is the safety and well-being of all conference participants. Unfortunately, the development of events with coronavirus is so dramatic, moreover, the Czech government has declared a state of emergency for at least 30 days and it is unclear what will happen next.

We had to make a very difficult decision, but we believe that in this situation there is no choice but to postpone the SPPT 2020 to 2021, June 14-17, 2021. Personally, I still feel that we have been unfair to you, because this year's preparation of the SPPT was almost complete and the symposium could begin almost immediately, but I see no other option.

The Plasma Physics and Technology journal is independent of SPPT and published regularly. If you are interested you can send your results there, it will be published immediately after reviews. For details, please, visit
https://ojs.cvut.cz/ojs/index.php/PPT/about/submissions#onlineSubmissions

They are challenging times now. Please, take care of yourself.

With best regards
Jan Pichal
